Aiken Student Receives 2010 Mamie Earl Sells Scholarship

Congratulations to Queshonda J. Bolling, recent Aiken College and Career High School graduate, for earning the 2010 YWCA Mamie Earl Sells Scholarship, which recognizes female African American seniors for their academic achievements and qualities of leadership, extracurricular involvement and community service. Queshonda graduated as valedictorian of her class and was a member of the National Honor Society and GE Scholars programs at Aiken.

Runners up for the scholarship were Lisa Moran, a graduate of Woodward Career Technical High School, and Jameesa Rucker, who graduated from Clark Montessori High School. Honorable mentions went to Briana Davis and Gerian Napier from Hughes Center and Alexandria Johnson from Walnut Hills High School.
