CPS Students Among Semifinalists for National Merit Scholarships

Several students from Cincinnati Public Schools are among the16,000 recently announced semifinalists for 2011 National Merit Scholarships. These academically talented high school seniors have an opportunity to continue in the competition for some 8,400 National Merit Scholarships, worth more than $36 million, that will be offered next spring.
