YMCA Honors CPS Students with Character Awards

Ten CPS students were honored by the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati with the 2011 Character Award. The award celebrates young people who exemplify the Y's core values of caring, respect, honesty and responsibility.

"Our YMCA Character Award recipients' initiative, leadership, integrity and caring are examples to us all," says Rebecca Kelley, YMCA group vice president. "On any given day, their actions are making our world a better place. It is our great pleasure to support and encourage their commitment to a lifelong path of service to others and personal success."
