Three students from Pleasant Ridge Montessori School earned the 2nd-place prize in the state of Ohio ECybermission Science Fair. The students studied childhood obesity and performed a scientific experiment to determine if their fellow students could detect a difference between regular and low-fat brownies. Jesse Juckleby, Dana Moore and Mikayla Jones all earned a $500 Series EE U.S. Savings Bond.

The ECybermission program, sponsored by the U.S. Army, is a free, web-based STEM (Science, Technology, Engieering and Math) competition for students in grades six through nine.
