Cincinnati Human Relations Commission Honors CPS Students

The Cincinnati Human Relations Commission (CHRC) honored several CPS students for outstanding community service during its annual Youth Service Awards celebration held at City Council Chambers in City Hall on March 22, 2012.

The Youth Service Awards recognize youth who actively promote positive human relations and goodwill in their communities. They specifically spotlight youth who participate and/or lead service-learning activities, community service opportunities and diversity programs, as well as those who act as positive role models among their peers.

Congratulations to Janay Clark of Riverview East Academy and the Dater High School Green Team for earning the Youth Service Award. Faces Without Places, which supports students experiencing homelessness, also was honored.
