Many thanks to the Cincinnati NAACP for adopting Roll Hill Academy, a neighborhood school serving grades preschool to 8. Members will work with students in a variety of ways, including mentoring and tutoring.
"We are very excited about the opportunity to work with our youth, said Christopher Smitherman, president of the Cincinnati NAACP. "The staff of Roll Hill is outstanding and played a big role in our decision to adopt their school."
The Cincinnati NAACP is encouraging members who want to get involved to call the organziation at 513-281-1900 to get the process started.
Roll Hill has seen tremendous academic growth in recent years, climbing from Academic Emergency to Continuos Improvement and moving off the School Improvement List.
