For the last 14 years, the Assistance League of Greater Cincinnati has organized Operation School Bell, which provides new clothing to approximately 1,000 students in Cincinnati Public Schools. Starting in late August and wrapping up this month, busloads of students from 17 district schools arrive at the Assistance League Center in Bond Hill. Each child is measured by a school representative, then matched with a personal shopper who helps them select the right sizes. Each student receives two uniform pairs of pants, two shirts, multipacks of underwear and socks, a belt, shoes, and a fleece jacket. The Assistance League spends $60,000 each year to support our students. What a wonderful partner!
