Roberts Academy Students Get to ‘Play in the Dirt’ in New Outdoor Classroom


Roberts Paideia Academy students will have a hand in adding green infrastructure improvements to their campus by planting native trees, shrubs and perennials on Nov. 24 and Nov. 25. This $350,000 project delivers sustainable stormwater management and water quality improvement. The project will be a treasured community amenity thanks to its newly landscaped detention basin with a recreational trail and educational signage, as well as the outdoor classroom space for Roberts' students.

Ps-Mill-CreekDuring the planting days on Nov. 24 and Nov. 25, kindergarten, 2nd-, 3rd– and 5th-grade students will be planting, mulching and watering native trees, shrubs and perennials in newly-constructed landscape features on the school's campus.
