The Cincinnati Fire Department delivered more than 125 coats to students at Roberts Paideia Academy this week as part of its "Fire Fighters for the Operation Warm Program." Operation Warm is a national nonprofit founded in 2002 to provide new winter coats to children. The effort was a partnership between the Cincinnati Fire Department and Cincinnati Fire Fighters Union Local 48.
"The Cincinnati Fire Department is honored to help local students at Roberts Academy," says Fire Chief Richard Braun. "The essence of what we do is to help people, and a child in need will always be near and dear to our hearts."
