Amazon Fulfillment donated nearly $15,000 in school supplies to the teachers and students of William H. Taft Elementary School as part of the company’s ongoing commitment to give back in local communities where its employees live and work. The donation even included interactive white boards to support the school’s STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) program.

On average, teachers spend $400 to $1,500 out of pocket each year to support their academic programs. Amazon delivered the supplies in hopes of alleviating the financial burden for the teachers and ensuring a great start to the school year.
